I think the best way to get an answer would be to call the office of the doctor that is prescribing your pain medication and ask them these question.

I have to respectfully disagree with Dave (who tends to give very good info). That would be like my male dog who pees in the house, sniffs it and then I know what he did).
I personally think you should not say anything and hold tight. If you get caught, well then..., but I would not say anything to make them suspicious of your "recreational drug use".
From what I have observed at my pain clinic, they will notify you and let you know you need to find a new pain clinic.
    davedsel replied to aprilrose9's response:
Well, let me clarify. I meant that I would call the doctor's office and ask about the test results only. Stickity should have the right to know the results of the tests. Also, 5 weeks seems like a long time to wait for test results. I would not at all mention the other activity.

Perhaps in this case doing nothing may produce the best results. Maybe no news is good news. Stickity - do you have an appointment scheduled for follow-up with this doctor? The doctor may discuss test results with you at that appointment.

Perhaps my original answer was too quick, terse and vague and hopefully this clears up any misunderstandings.

    Hey Dave,
Hope you realize I was not trying to second guess your opinion, since I hate the "one-up manship" which can sometimes come across on sites when people are throwing in their opinion on a topic.
He says he had his urine test with his appointment on the 5th of this month and had smoked 7 days prior to his appointment.
I only looked like a teenage hippie during the 1970's, but don't have any experience personally of professionally with street drugs. Obviously, he was asking if the drug would be excreated in his urine after 7 days. I do not know this answer. Anyone?
    davedsel replied to aprilrose9's response:
I was just trying to clarify. No problem.

According to his article: the drug can show up in urine test for up to 13 days.

Here's another good link about pot in urine tests
    trs1960 replied to trs1960's response:
Doped same article. I had another one that had the half life of each drug and how long it would show in urine, blood and hair tests. I can't find it now though!
