I cannot tolerate opiates. I have tried Tramadol and it does not help. I received a lot of relief from Naproxen, but cannot take it as it is causing bruising on my skin and perhaps internally.

Any suggestions?

Hello.

I also can not take any narcotic as I have broken out in hives after one dose of each one that I tried.

I have found success with enteric coated aspirin and a prescription muscle relaxer (methocarbomol, which is generic for robaxin). You can talk to your doctor about this approach.

I rely heavily on a good recliner, a good mattress (sleep number) and light activity as I can for additional pain management methods.

I pray you can find answers and relief soon.
