Back surgery
jv1962 posted:
Hello everyone I am new to the sight but have read many of the posts.I hope everyone is feeling well this morning. But if you are like me you are in continuous pain.I have had three back surgeries 2 in the early 90's and the 3rd in 2005.And I need a 4th surgery to repair 2 bulging discs above L-1.I have the steel plates and screws from L-1 to S-1.It has been a nightmare that's all I can say to everyone. I have had numerous pain block shots and RFA''s that I can handle, it is an ongoing cycle.I wish everyone the best of luck dealing with your back and leg pain.

Hi and welcome to the support group -

Like you most of us have had so many treatments on our spines that have failed or provide little relief.

For most of us here, you can click on our names or pictures and read our stories - I'm sure you will find most of them tearful/heartfelt ones.

I too will be looking at having a 2nd fusion at L4-5. Gonna be rough but can't wait as it will stop the moving /crunching I feel which hurts a lot.

Just wanted to welcome you and let you know most of us have stories that you can read.

Keep us posted as you are doing - being a support group there are days when everything gets to us so we "vent" and we cry on each others' shoulders. Let us know a little more about yourself - take care~~
