hi - i reviewed their website - and i hate to discourage patients from there as I'm sure they do great work -

however, one thing that would discourage me from going there is they say 'WE ACCEPT MOST MAJOR INSURANCE PLANS' but at this time 'THEY ARE OUT OF NETWORK WITH ALL PROVIDERS'

so what they will do is find out what your out of pocket amount would be - say for instance - your ins carrier will pay a REDUCED amount for out of network providers - this amount can be 60%, 50%, 40%, 30% etc., let's say the procedure you are looking at costs $16,500 (NOT ACTUAL COSTS - JUST AN EYE OPENER) and your ins will pay 60% - that's $9,900- so your out of pocket amount would be $6,600 PLUS any deductibles you have not meet. now if your ins pays 40% out of network - then the ins would pay $6,600 and your out of pocket amount would be $9,900!! this is an eye opener ONLY - kinda food for thought - oh and I'm not sure but you must have the amount paid BEFORE your procedure - now they do have a financial program you can apply for - now if you do not have good credit then you will be required to pay the costs up front.

this is why they want you to attend their seminars - you will get an idea of what you're getting into etc., and i can imagine that there are a lot of patients that turn away from this as they can't afford to come up with the out of network costs.

I just cannot see myself stepping foot into a place like this - Now I'm not saying they do bad work - it just gets me that they are more money hungry - want money up front - before they do any surgeries.

this is just my opinion - i'm not sure but i don't know if i've heard of any board members doing this -

I hope you find the answers you are looking for - take care - Joy
