    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

Did you know you can create a direct link to other web sites when replying to or creating posts in WebMD Communities? Just follow these instructions.

    1. Access the web site you want to link to.
    1. Right click on the site's address at the top of your page. It will be something like "http//www.webmd.com/"
    1. Click on the Copy option in the drop-down menu that appears
    1. Create a discussion, tip, resource or reply to a post in a WebMD Community.
    1. Get to the point in the text of your post where you want the link to appear, go the top of the reply or create box, click on the symbol that looks like a figure 8 on its side — if you hover over that symbol it will say link.
    1. Another box will appear on your screen. It will have http// already in the box highlighted in blue. Simply right click in that box and select the Paste option from the drop-down menu.
    1. Click on OK and the link will appear in your post. When you actually submit your post, you can click on that link and you will be taken directly to that web site. You may need to click on Continue if prompted to do so.

This method allows an easy way to directly access linked websites.
    Blessings,

    -Dave

Dave - thanks for the info - a lot of people don't always know how to maneuver through the internet and link pages, etc. It's great you took the time out to do this.

Also, thanks for posting the links you have. As I run across them I try to save them as bookmarks as they do contain valuable information.

Again, thanks so much! Take care - God Bless - Joy~~
