I was in too much pain to make it to my water therapy. i had an excuse for anything. my phy ther said she would drop me and it was a sweet set up just 5 min ride and a big ole heated pool.these starfoam things are strapped to each ankle and you do this one and that one and think this isnt doing anytihing. but when i tried to walk up 4 stairs to get out it blew me away. it works it is great and easy to do in zero gravity and aftr 12 visits i had toned my core and very rarely injured myself doing silly ass things.i go back every year for every visit that medicare will cover! if you r trully tired of pain just do it.l

I agree - water therapy really helped me. Make sure though that you start out with a therapist rather than trying it on your own. They keep you from over-doing it, cater the exercises to your needs and fitness, and can explain how to go about doing certain activities on land so you don't overdo it when at home.

Movement is critical in overcoming chronic pain. If you just sit around it gets worse as your inner and outer muscles become weak. There is a really good webinar video called 'How To Use Movement and Graded Exposure to Relieve Pain' on Just look under webinars and keep scrolling down until you find it.
