Mornin everyone, August 01, change your calendars. 7 months gone by already this year. Rain storm just went through, not much rain though, maybe more later. Still a lot of summer left but school will start in a month around here. We are getting staionary products out for sales each week now. I'll skip the achys today, Ohh i'd really like to skip them... LOL Skip arthur that pain in the neck or butt. Lets ask Why me?

Why me, Lord??. I've asked this question. I still do even if i think i know the answer. Most of us believe, at least on some level, that we need to understand everything. We just need to know why. When we don't, we may feel God has betrayed us in some way. He hasn't but we just don't believe when we are in pain and hurting. Can everything that happens to us be good things. If you can believe without a doubt, maybe. So you must believe there is a God out there who hears you and you have hoped He would answer you. When you ask God, Why me??you feel as though you are singled out for the pain you are feeling, mentally or physically. Now why would God single anyone out. If anything, satan put them thoughts there. If you listen to the negitive and not on postitive thoughts you will just sink into a deeper mire. Quoting Romans 8, 28.. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to the that are called according to His purpose. We may not know Gods' ways or even an iota of His thoughts but His plan for us is purposeful. There are billions on earth at this moment each making dicisions. Do you think your the only one who has problems? Some are making life and death decisions for themselves or their family. Most decisions do not affect us directly but each affects the world to some degree. Look how one decision in the gulf oil spill affected millions and will affect the world. This i quote "We are not in control. God is in control and nothing happens apart from Him. Nothing changes except it proceeds from Him. In Genesis we read how God created all things, set them in their place, gave them direction, and set them into motion in perfect harmony and balance". We are not puppets or robots of God, we are his creation, a living breathing life form who should worship our creator forever and ever. Why can't we trust our Lord and know He is in control? Many have been asking this for years and will be forever. Our faith must be great. You trust God that he will wake you up each morning, then trust Him to guide you in your life. You can ask, why me? He may say trust in me because i Love you. "And behold I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I AM the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Almighty and most merciful God, we give thanks to thee for the light of another day, for the work we have to do, and for the strength to do it. Guide us, we pray thee, by thy truth; uphold us by thy power; and purify us by the continual indwelling of thy Spirit. Grant that in every circumstance we may grow in wisdom, and knowing the things that belong to our peace, obtain strength to persevere; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
