Morning all, another very hot day on hand. 96 yest. maybe the same today. Earl is still heading up the east coast.
Went through all kinds of emotions yest. Much anxiety with the hearing for the guy that stoled my jeep. He waved his rights and admitted guilt. Thank the Lord.Then while i was near i stopped and looked at used cars. I fell in love with this Chevy HHT and ended up buying in right then. So i'm driving a new car and my Jeep is history. After having it broken into then stolen it feels like it wasn't the same. I may miss it in winter. For now i;m a little giddy with my new toy. May have to work more now to pay it off. I took a loan out instead of using retirement money. Low interest loan only 4.2 % so not bad.
Had to take the loaner back aslo yest. Would be nice if the ins. paid it all but i'll have some out of pocket exp.
Have another day off today. then work 3 days str. So have a good day and God bless, ~Deach~

So cool about the truck. I totaly understand about the jeep. That was the way i was with my rodeo. It wasn't stolen it just broke down and it just was never the same after. You don't even want to know what i drive now!!
Last night we stopped at the park near Maggie's school and a bald eagle swooped down got a fish and then landed less than five hundred feet from us to eat his dinner. SO very cool. This particular lake always has birds there, cranes, egrets, herons and lately a spoonbill has been showing up. I did do some research on the wood storks and actually the more there are the better that eco system gets rated. They are also called indicator birds as they indicate the health of that particular wetland. Just a bit of bird lore for you this morning.
Oh yes we have been having the late afternoon early evening thunderstroms as well. been playing havoc with my sinus's. Benadryl here i come! lol. But what can you do its summer time in florida! lol.

Mornin Erin, the HHT is a SUV, I got the windowed one not the panel turck style. The pic will be up when they change it.
Where do you live in Fla.that you have a lake near by? We have a man made lake about half-hour drive away. I use to go there but not in a while. We have e few people here from Fla. Like Tigger/Donna.

I am not sure if it is a man made lake or not. Perhaps pond would be a better term for it. The myakkahatche river and the myakka river are both less than five miles from my house. I pass over Donna Bay every day on my way to work.
Summers here are pretty typical of hot humid in the am and hot humid thunderstorms in the late afternoon to evening.Don't forget the hurricanes! lol.
