Morning Backies, sorry i haven't been here but lack of responses had caused me to cut back on posting also. I miss talking with the reg. backies, here. Things change, we change. I'll stay informed of any posts with the backie newsletter.
Not much new with me, I'm in a back flareup right now. Not fun anytime but when you have to work. Not fun at all. Okay a little spiritual message.

Did you ever think that someone else has taken over your body. Wheres that young spirit that use to be you. In the old prayer, Lord, grant me the serenity to except the things I cannot change. That says alot.We can't stop aging, we all will pass on someday. We must except the changes to our bodys and mind. We have limitations, some leave us sad and angry. We must know and get it through our heads that this world is not our permanent home. Some day our spirits will leave our bodies and one day the Lord will give us bodies like His. Its His promise. He left us with these words,,Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." jhn14:27 It takes a great faith not to be troubled and not afraid as we grow older. don't say everything is fine when its not. Voice your grievence, even to God. Believers are not protected from illness, sadness, fears, angers, losses. On the contrary we may be attacked for our belief. We are tried everyday. You must say"its not easy being me" Do you want everything to be easy for you and not grow spiritually. Not to learn but to be a robot and live as if your programed. Maybe being in pain is the way God gets you to be closer to Him. For me it is, because when nothing is going wrong in my life and i have no pain I sometimes lose my way on my path God has set for me.Or when i don't pray for others i lose my way also. I am praying and feel closer when i am in the most pain and scared. Thats when i feel comforted by His hands or as some have said covered by his wings of Love. Your suffering can be a source of growing recognition of your dependence on God. Sharing your pain with others in these support groups helps to lighten the load we bare. But turn to God, for He suffers with you and will help you through it. Because theres another day on the horizon where there will be less pain and more light.
Pray as this, Lord send your angels to give comfort and relief to those who suffer. Help those that are bedridden or sick and the ones in pain, help them to be healed. Relieve their pain. Help them get relief so they may see Your light and know that it is You, who is the Great Healer. You are blessed Lord, you who help the sick and infirmed with their pain and sorrow. You who holds the power in Your hands to heal and save. May You have mercy on us Lord. Amen
