Morning everyone, bright sunny morning, birds singing, trees in bloom. Must be Spring. Sneezing, watery eyes, postnasal drip, must be Spring. Yes its Spring. Forecast calls for 80 today, was near that yest. From winter right into the heat.

Well got my high speed internet going, still some bugs to work out. Boy pages load right away, thats new to me. I've been in the stone ages. I'll be sending out my new addy soon. I have to delete some people on my address book before i send anything.

No aches or pains today. April fools. just the same old, same old. My newest pain is my ankle, i must have twisted it somehow. Hard to rest it when your on your feet all the time.

Have a good day, God bless, ~Deach~

MY dh truck has been down and we thought we had everything fixed but no! We still have another part to get!! Will it ever end?

You probably will be busy this afternoon at work so try and take it as easy if possible.

Morning Lori, I went to the farmers market and then got gas for the car. Well if you needed wheel bearings and they went out maybe you needed spindles also. that could run some bucks. hope not.

Well you should know if the shots worked by now, you would think. If one don't work, would you still try it again?? Not me. Hope you have a LPD, ~Deach~

Lori!!!!

Most doctors will not give you more than one epidural injection every three months and no more than 3 in a year. Are you sure that you are getting a epidural steroid injection?

I do find them to be very helpful myself. It takes about a month to notice the benefits, but after that I can actually think about attempting things (like sweeping in the garage) that I could not do otherwise. But due to the rules on when and how many, I haven't had an injection since last fall and cannot get one until this month. sigh.

If I were you, I'd check it out with this doctor why so many in a short time frame?

Hey Deach! Yep sometimes it is hard to find the time to sit down and clean out the computer?

Farmers Market! Good deal. We don't have one until the beginning of June usually. Even then, there isn't much there that I want to buy. Sometimes I can get some geraniums and that is good.

Hows Jer?

Morning Deach

This am was easter am here. We have a babysitting job tomorrow.

So we had the easter bunny come here early and then we went to a easter festival where Maggie got to sing, do a craft, watch a magic show, have a snack.watch a puppet show, have an easter egg hunt and play some games for fake money for prizes.

Then we came home and had a nap. boy was mommy ready for one!

Now we are getting ready to go to church in an hour or so.

I had a massage today so my pain level is really low today.

OrANGE, as far as I know that's what they are. I am sceduled for 2 more about 2 weeks apart is that normal?

They numbed me up amd injected dexamethasone dinto my cervical area. He used a florascope to due it with.

I have an appt. with my reg PM doc Fri. I will ask her and tell her it didn't work.

Let me know if this is normal OK?

twist,

I can only tell you what I've heard both from some of the 'used to be' regulars here and that my doctors will only do one if three months have passed from the previous injection and will do no more than three in a year.

Mine also does a follow up appt at one month because it takes awhile to feel the effects.

Considering that you are mainly in pain from the muscle spasms, perhaps this will not help you. But I can say that prior to my 1st injection, I had really nasty spasms in my lower back muscles. The injection helped get rid of the spasms by calming the irritated nerves that were causing the spasms. However, I will say that at first the injection did rile up the spasms so that for maybe the first week things felt even worse.

hi Lori - i would double check on those shots - I just found out that the shots I had received the 2 years before my surgery and some afterwords are now causing problems in my hips and knees -

like orange said most doc's won't give the shots but every 3 months - the PM's I went to were giving me the shots every 2-3 weeks!! injecting in different areas doing facet joint injections - it was never stated that the EPI's had to be done every 3 months - and every time I went to a new PM they would start me out on new shots - in the same way - every 2-3 weeks -

over a period of time the steroid shots will start to eat away at the hips and knees -

so I cannot have anymore shots - ever - and I have carpel tunnel besides the hip/knee problems. So I will have to discuss with the PM what other options do I have.

take care and do check on the shots - Joy
