Post lap band surgery diet

Hi, I'm 8 weeks post lap band surgery and have had one fill of 2cc two weeks ago. I'm having trouble keeping solid protien foods such as meat down. About all I can handle at a time is about and ounce and a half and then only in the late afternoon and evenings. I can't keep any thing solid down in the mornings at all. I'm drinking UNJURY and Boost, but it's getting old. Any suggestions? I've had to do some unexpected traveling so it's hard to find things I can eat out that have lots of protien in them. Try finding things at an airport! Found some yoghurt at O'Hare but that was it. Between the 2 week pre surgery liquid protien diet and now I've lost 47 pounds. Not complaining, it's just faster than I expected. Thanks, All suggestions are welcome. My surgeon is new at bariatric surgery and does not have a support group so I'm rather on my own.

Has this been happening since the fill? If so, it sounds like your band is too tight. I'm 6 weeks post op and have no problem with protein. After your fill, did your doctor have you drink water to make sure you were to full? I don't know what type of protein your eating, but fish is very easy to chew if you don't overcook it or you can try tuna out of the can. If it is too dry add a very small amount of low fat ranch dressing. You can also try carnation instant breakfast - when added to 1 cup of milk it is 14 grams of protein.
