hello, i had gastric bypass 14 months ago. i lost 155 pounds in the first 8 months but nothing since. i only ate mashed potatoes for the first 6 months. everything else i threw up. now i can eat mashed potatoes, stove top stuffing, oatmeal everything else comes up. dr said i cant eat that stuff cause of the starch and calories but what else is there to eat. protein comes back up, veggies comes back up, fruits comes back up. theres nothing else to eat. now the dr says that my pouch is to long and he wants to put the lap band on. has anyone else ever had both done? what can i expect? should i do it? what questions should i ask? what answers should i expect?

p.s. whats a poll question? under this box where i have written this is a box that says poll question.. then possible poll answers. so what is a poll question? sorry im new to this.. thank you

I had gastric bypass surgery in 2002 and then a corrective surgery 5 yrs later. Since the second surgery I have gaind 30lbs of the 60lbs lost from the second surgery. I do not regret getting my second surgery but I do wish that my dr had offered the lap band because I would have done it.
