Psychoanalyze Yourself - fun test, OT

ddnos posted:

Just a fun self-psychoanalyzing test for anyone interested.

Psychoanalyze Yourself

This is a very interesting test. Try it. Have a pen and paper handy before you read any further. As soon as you read a question, write the answer right away.

Make sure to answer questions 1-10 before moving on...NO CHEATING!!

Read the following questions, imagining the scenes in your mind, and write down the FIRST thing that you visualize. Do not think about the questions excessively.

1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. Who are you walking with?

2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal is it?

3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal?

4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing and before you is your dream house. Describe its size.

5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence?

6. You enter the house. You walk to the dining area and see the dining room table. Describe what you see on AND around the table.

7. You exit the house through the back door. Lying in the grass is a cup. What material is the cup made of?

8. What do you do with the cup?

9. You walk to the edge of the property, where you find yourself standing at the edge of a body of water. What type of body of water is it?

10. How will you cross the water?

The following is the "analysis" of your answers:

This has been a relational psychology test. The answers given to the questions have been shown to have a relevance to values and ideals that we hold in our personal lives. The analysis follows:

1. The person who you are walking with is the most important person in your life.

2. The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of your problems.

3. The severity of the interaction you have with the animal is representative of how you deal with your problems. (passive/aggressive)

4. The size of your dream house is representative of the size of your ambition to resolve your problems.

5. No fence is indicative of an open personality. People are welcome at all times. The presence of a fence indicates a closed personality. You'd prefer people not to drop by unannounced.

6. If your answer did not include food, people, or flowers, then you are generally unhappy.

7. The durability of the material with which the cup is made of is representative of the perceived durability of your relationship with the person named in number 1. For example, styrafoam, plastic, and paper are all disposable, styrofoam, paper and glass are not durable, and metal and plastic are durable.

8. Your disposition of the cup is representative of your attitude towards the person in number 1.

9. The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire.

10. How wet you get in crossing the water is indicative of the relative importance of your sex life.

I walked with my wife met a wolf who ran away. We encounter a lovely log cabin with no fence and a dining room set with fruits. Outside was a teacup from which I drank before swiming across the lake...now what does that mean?

I was with my husband, saw a white deer, it chased us, the house I found was an all glass triangular home(?), surrounded by a wooden fence, table had a empty tall fat glass centerpiece filled with colored rocks, surrounding the table was a deep burgundy couch and chairs, the cup I found in the yard was made of ceramic, at the edge of the property was a cove, We crossed in a canoe

LMAO oh my goodness.

I was walking with my husband and came upon a wolf. I bent down, extended my arm and fed him from my hand. (dont ask me where I got dog food from cause I have NO idea). My dream house was a small house with a thatched roof and it had colorful flowers surrounding it. No fence. The table was a very old wooden table but the chairs what surrounded it were new. (I didnt want to get splinters in my behind) (btw, how did you know I had a back door? STALKER!!!!) lol. I found a china tea cup on the ground, I pick it up and then throw it to the ground. (why, I dont know why. I guess I dont like tea) Oh and my back yard walked out onto an ocean and I swim across. (My sexual desire is HUGE!!!!! I almost choked on my coffee when I read that one) LOL
I HATE being Bipolar. Its AWESOME!!!!

I couldn't imagine anyone walking with me, but I met a fox which I petted. I came to a medium sized, lovely house with a pool(?), with a fence and a dining table with nothing on it, and only chairs around it. I placed the glass cup onto a safer place before going around the lake to get to the other side.

what does it mean if the person you are walking with is a bear? it didn't say it had to be a person.

The new Colorado option, Miss Kitty, would be to offer the bear a joint. Hee hee (sorry, I had to say that) - goat

I am sssooo glad that this post was brought to life again. How fun. I can compare my answers today with the answers I gave 7 months ago. So here goes.

I'm walking with my husband. We come upon a bear. (yea, my problems are much bigger now). It licks my hand. (thats pretty passive). My dream house is small. (I guess I really don't give a crap when it comes to solving my problems). No fence. (you guys are welcomed to drop by any ole time but please bring donuts). The dining room table was surround by flowers but the table had nothing on it. The cup that I found was made of china and I pick it up. The water is a big, calm lake. (my sex drive isn't as big as it was before.) I get across the lake by using a small white row boat. (uuummm I don't really care if I get any or not).
You may go through life hearing a 1000 NO's but don't give up because your YES is out there waiting for you.- (Something my father told me.)

I am walking with a raccoon and we meet up with a bear and we all get along. The bear leads me through the woods to my house. My house is mid-sized with lots of windows to bring the outside in. There is no fence. Inside is a dining room table with flowers on it and a fire place to the side. I walk outside with my coffee cup and put it down on the picnic table. There is a calm flowing river in the back and I walk across the stepping stones to the other side.
