Afternoon beepers! Can't believe someone hasn't started this thread already...so here goes.

Weather: Unbelievably hot and humid. And there's a wildfire burning far away but the winds are blowing the smoke in making it hard to breathe outside.

Sleep: Eh...I suppose I got enough

Mood: Distracted and blah

Plans: Woke to a migraine, took OTC meds and crawled back into bed for a couple of hours. Woke feeling creative, so I got out the plain bibs and the fabric paint and went to town. Lost track of time and I was at it for 3-4 hours. They're cute. Dinner duty is on the MIL, so I am just chilling. Hoping the wind dies down a bit later closer to sunset so I can get out and walk for the day. Still battling the migraine. Other than that...not a lot.

Hugs to those who need/want them!
Mel

Hello -

Weather: I was inside all day but it was pleasantly warm when I left - after they let me out of my cage

Sleep: Goo-o-o-o-o-d

Mood: Goo-o-o-o-o-d; but I could not drink enough coffee today to wake up.

Plans: Just relax and get caught up on some reading this 3-day weeked, and enjoy my garden after I souse the deck with bug spray.

Other:
My dh went to our pcp and they talked about me. Our pcp told him I was doing well. I haven't seen our pcp since I was so upset he told me to get a pdoc; so, my pdoc must be talking to our pcp. Which by the way, I will tell my pdoc something and she will ask me 'what does your husband say about that?' If I tell her something is out of the norm for me, why does she have to ask what my dh thinks? It bothers me because apparently he has more credibility in her eyes than I do and she hasn't even met him. I get her reasoning, kindof!

Mercy, did you sign a document for your pdoc giving her permission to talk with your pcp about you? If not, it's illegal for either of them to exchange info about you to one another w/o your written permission. The same privacy law goes for your dh as well, unless permission was given by you. So I will talk with your pcp - it's not for sure that your pdoc talked with your pcp; I'm just saying that IF she did, she did a no-no unless she has your permission.

Glad you are feeling good

Sorry it took me so long to respond to this.
I set up a 3-ring circus between dh, pcp and pdoc Lol Our pcp has been our doc for over 10 years so I allowed the swinging trapeze between the pcp and pdoc. The pdoc needs access to thyroid blood tests, and if I have to stop seeing the pdoc she can turn over records to my pcp so he can continue to monitor my meds again. Dh is listed as my emergency contact with all of my doctors and all of my health records are open to him. I feel very comfortable with open communication so everyone falls on the same net Lol and it helps to have an established relationship with our pcp.
I asked Dh if pcp had asked how I was doing since I was pretty much a wreck last time I saw him. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that pcp had been communicating with pdoc. For some reason I was thinking 'wow that was fast that they have already spoken to each other' but a whole month has gone by since I had my first pdoc visit. So, of course, they have had enought time to catch and release. I have little or no concept of time. So strange, but pdoc made a comment that I didn't look like a person that had problems with time management. ??? What does that look like??? I must have been dressed well that morning and had make-up on Lol I corrected her and humbly reminded her that I had been late to the last two morning appointments. Oops!
