I came across this and thought it was very interesting. What are your thoughts on this?

8 primary bipolar emotions

Joy vs. Sadness

Anger vs. Fear

Trust vs. Disgust

Surprise vs. Anticipation


Like colors, primary emotions can be expressed at different intensities and can mix with one another to form different emotions.

Seems overly complex. Bipolar is a matter of speed - fast and slow. The illness is not being self-aware of what speed you are going while also stuck in an autopilot mode. You are you, just not in control of your speed. David
