Good morning to all! I am up early and thought I would take a turn starting the thread.

Weather: supposed to be nice, small chance of rain/storms (which my garden desperately needs).

Sleep: so so

Mood: anxious, kind of down

Plans: errands, puppy care

I see my pdoc tomorrow. A bit nervous. My tdoc thinks I need a meds change.
Also yesterday, I finally told my middle son (18) that I am bp. He seemed to take it in stride.
I am a bit overwhelmed with puppy care. I love the puppy and in an odd way, think she is good for me, but boy is it time consuming!

Hope everyone is doing well! Have a good day.

Morning

Weather: hot in the 90's

Sleep: good

Mood: anxious and frustrated.

Plans: wait for the guy to come to fix my videophone due to freezing issues. Hopefully he'll help resolve it. If not I give up. The rest of the day well boring. Have nothing else to do but need to make phone calls if they can fix my vp(videophone).

I am feeling kind of down right now and it irritates me when people says i shouldn't be down but they don't understand the feelings I have. Its a chemical imbalance.

Dizzy Honey, not sure if I asked this before or not, but is the puppy yours or are you puppy sitting? I cant remember anything because Lyrica is making me loopy-er.

Fur babies are great for ppl with Bipolar. Although they are time consuming, need a lot of care and can be expensive at times, they love us unconditionally and can make you smile every single day. My dog Chewy makes me laugh every day. She is always doing some silly. No matter how depressed I am, she will make me laugh.

Have a good day honey. muahs

Beej sweetie, goodness gracious, it seems that lately you have a lot of things that need to be repaired. Poor sweetie. How frustrating huh?

I hate it when ppl say things like "why are you depressed? There is nothing to be depressed about." So I totally understand where your coming from. Hope things start looking up for you soon. muahs

Afternoon all....

Weather: Hot humid and expecting rain. Think the news said 50% which is greater than our normal daily 20% for rainy season.

Sleep: Deep and full of weird dreams

Mood: Down and vindictive

Plans: Woke with a migraine and it's backed down to manageable. But of course in the middle, I get a call from ds2 telling me I need to go through step-mom to arrange visitation. WTF? And why did that come through my youngest instead of the obvious source itself. Anyways ex is in rehab. Thus the vindictiveness. I so wanna do to him what he did to me when I fell ill. Gonna be the better person, but that feeling is still riding there in the background. We did get the marriage license yesterday and hopefully early next week we'll be married. Waiting to see what happens with grandbaby's dr appt tomorrow. He needs some minor surgery. Gonna make dinner again. And fold laundry. Maybe a nap if the migraine returns full force. The rest I'm gonna play by ear.

Cookie...yes the puppy is ours. She has been doing great at night (fingers crossed) and naps quite a bit during the day. When she is away, it is constant attention/supervision. Before we got her, I called a family meeting and said this would NOT be "my" dog but a family dog and everyone had to help. Meh. I lost it a few nights ago because I was doing all the care and of course everything else.

Do you have Pet Insurance on Chewy?? I am debating about that. Can't really afford it but also feel like we can't afford NOT to get it.

There is nothing as frustrating as waiting for repairmen to show up. Recently our cable company was coming and the repair guy calls our house and asks if we are home. He said he had been knocking on the door. I look out and see nothing and tell him he must be knocking on the wrong door. Turns out not only was he at a different house, he was in a different state!

Melly, I was wondering how the grandbaby was doing. Glad you got the marriage license. Take care and get some rest.

We dont have pet ins. YET. She is only three years old and she is in good health but perhaps when she gets a bit older we will get it. I wish we had gotten it for Cookie because Cookie cost us thousands of dollars in vet bills.

Yesterday the emergency vet did blood work on her and some other things and it ended up costing us about $450. ouch

I think I will get Zoya insurance, I just can't decide if we should get the basics or more. I have been doing a lot of research. I did read that the longer you wait (as the dog gets older), it gets more expensive.
Right now for Z, it would cost about $40-45 a month including wellness coverage ($100 deductable), and about $25-30 without the wellness. Both of my sisters spent thousands on vet bills with their dogs when they were really young.
