I had to share this with you guys. Ok, so picture this: Im at the dollar store looking at plants and a guys walked up and started looking through the plants too. He kinda looked like a hippie. So he starts talking and Im thinking he is on the cell phone, so I glance over but he isnt on a phone. He is saying things like "yea, I was told that I had to buy a plant before I could get a dog. hhhmmm what do you think of this plant? Yes I like it.". So Im trying to ignore him but he says "Mam do these flowers look good with his eyes?", I look over expecting to see a photo but instead he is holding this WEIRD metal thing that has this crude looking dragon head on it. He is holding the flowers up to its eyes. LMAO Im sure the look on my face was like "DOH!!!" So I tell him "uuummmm yea, they look good" LOL. So he starts talking to himself again and says "Yes, I like her dress too". LOL. Then he walks away.

So that was my entertainment for the day.

hmmmm...a schizophrenic addict for sure. AA and NA tell them they have to have a plant for a year and keep it alive before they get a pet and then another year, then they're ready for a relationship. Or at least that's how I understand it.

But in any case, I'd have left chuckling to myself and thinking, wow...my life isn't so bad.

the guy was buying plastic plants. LoL So I think he was cheating. hhhmmm I see a trend here. After a year he will then buy one of those wind up dogs that bark and then does back flips. Then comes his relationship.............a blow up doll.

Was just dropping in and skimming over the most recent posts and ... OMG, Cookie! The story itself had me giggling, but your plant-to-relationship plan? I busted out laughing at work here and they gave me some weird freaking looks!!

LOL Im so glad that I could make you and Melly laugh. Comic relief is such a necessary thing in life. If we never laughed, we would go crazy.

That is so funny and so scary-weird at the same time. It reminds me of that movie with Sandra Bullock "28 Days". At the end she sees one of the guys she was in rehab with, and he was trying to return a plant he didn't take very good care of. They told him when he left rehab that he could not have a relationship until he could take care of a pet and a plant. If you can't keep those alive and happy, how can you nurture a human relationship, right? If you've never seen it you should.
