Women only please!!!!!!!! Men, you don't want to read this because its girl talk.

Ever since I was diag. with Lichen Simplex Chronicus Vulva and Vulvodynia, I have trouble with my Dr.s and Gyno's believing me when I tell them that something is wrong in the Land Down Under, and its NOT my LSC. They always give me this look kinda like *yea, I read your medical record and your ALWAYS paranoid that you have an inf.* Its gotten to the point where I'm afraid to see my Gyno. and I put it off as long as possible.

I suspected that I had an inf. but put off seeing my Gyno for two weeks. On Monday I finally saw her and I told her what I suspected. So she does her thing, everything looks fine down under and she sees no yeast under the microscope. But its their policy to send all samples to a lab. Today I call for the results and YES, I HAVE A YI. Just as I knew I did. The YI has been reeking havoc on my LSC, so I have been feeling twice as miserable and in twice as much pain. I'm PO'd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm angry, so frustrated and so tired of this. It just brings tears to my eyes.

You are patient tho, I would have taken an otc med for YI if that is what I expected was wrong.
Its the same ole story eh? so many conditions have the same symtoms and specialist just can't realize that many of us know our own body! and know when its NOT the other condition, its independent! Hope you are feeling better asap.

Hey snuggle bug, I did use an OTC but they never seem to work. My husband told me that I need to see a Gyno who knows nothing about me. I may have to do that. Thanks honey bunny.
