Antidepressants and egg donation
An_249142 posted:
Can you take anti-depressants while donating eggs, or going through the egg donation process?

Anneinside responded:
You need to call the doctor who will be doing the harvesting of the eggs to ask this question.
Joseph F Goldberg, MD responded:
Dear An,

Policies about antidepressant or other medication use in egg donors vary from state to state. Although antidepressants cause no known adverse effects on egg development and structure, such decisions are governed more by state laws and policies than by science or medicine.
