The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Good morning my lovely friends, thus marks the beginning of another week here for us all, hope everyone is doing well.

Weather today: As of now we're at about 43 degrees of chilliness and supposed to get all the way up to a whopping 62, this is way too cold for me!

Sleep: Sleep last night was not good, even WITH the med that's supposed to help me with sleep, just had too much on my mind I suppose....and I woke up with a migraine which isn't going to help my day at all.

Mood: Nervous, anxious, depressed, nervous, anxious, nervous...did I mention anxious??? As I said, a lot on my mind.

Plans: One of my kids has a dr. appt @ 8am, then gonna come home to pick up another and head off to the gym (really need to burn off some if this negative/nervous energy) then back home to shower, eat dress, off to another dr appt with one of my kids for physical therapy....then off to another 1st intake therapy appt for one of my kids of which i'm having a freak out about...i wish my kids dad could be there because i get stuck at these types of things and don't know what to say, i've been trying to think of what to say for the past few days and each time my mind goes blank and i get that tense nervous, anxiousness inside me...have to remind myself to breathe and it'll all be life right now is a bit chaotic...

    Hello Dahlings, I hate mondays.

    Weather: too chilly for me

    Sleep: not good

Mood: not sure yet. Prob. will depend on my pain issues.

Plans: I have no motivation to do anything fun. Hopefully I will get a wild hair and work on one of my craft projects. I have some chores that need to be done. Need to call pain specialist and find out how soon after my procedure am I supposed to start to feel better.

You all have a wonderful day. smoochies
You may go through life hearing a 1000 NO's but don't give up because your YES is out there waiting for you.- (Something my father told me.)

Sounds like a rough day for everyone!! Boo! I hope your day is better. Maybe tomorrow will be perfect and cancel out today? Wouldn't that be nice!

    Weather: Burr; freezing cold

Sleep: A little too good...I'm pretty sure this much Klonapin is like a tranquilizer for me.

    Mood: Anxious

Plans: Got a lot acomplished with the kids and around the house today, hopefully my mood will improve some and you guys too .

Try to enjoy the rest of your day!
    jselleck replied to monkeybee's response:
Well, guess I'm going to be the weird one today, because so far my day has been pretty good. But then I haven't left the house yet, so we'll see.

Weather: Grey and overcast. Front on the way.

Sleep: Not to bad if I do say so myself.

Mood: Ditto. Looking forward to getting out and doing some stuff.

Plans: Once husband gets up we're headed to Arlington for a doctor's appt for me. Hopefully I'll get some good news about my elbow and hands. Going to put my foot down if doc doesn't give me the right answers or do a better exam than last time. Pretty disappointed so far in this new guy. We'll see. Hopefully we'll get to Wal-mart and Aldi's depending on how Matt feels. Supposed to get a HUGE rainstorm starting tomorrow evening, and lasting all day wednesday. May get up to three inches. Just really really glad it's not snow. Sorry everyone else is having such bad days. Wish I could help. Take care and think positive thoughts.

    skypper replied to jselleck's response:
Hope it all stays on the positive path!

    monkeybee replied to skypper's response:
Seriously, about the Klonapin being a tranquilizer...has anyone heard the Stones' song Mother's Little Helper? I know it was written for an entirely different generation, and an entirely different reason, but was it about benzodiazepines? I've read different things on the internet about it and I'm just curious. Anyone know the real story behing the song? I'm not worried btw, just sounds like a hard drug to OD on unintentionally.

Some lyrics if you haven't heard it:

And though shes not really ill
    Theres a little yellow pill
She goes running for the shelter of a mothers little helper
And it helps her on her way, gets her through her busy day...

They just dont appreciate that you get tired
Theyre so hard to satisfy, you can tranquilize your mind
So go running for the shelter of a mothers little helper
And four help you through the night, help to minimize your plight

    skypper replied to monkeybee's response:
I've no idea but that certainly can be said to be true of me lately, I've been taking the buspar to help me sleep, sometimes it helps a little but more often not too much, need to ask doc if i can take more
