can't stay awake
ddnos posted:
I need to shower and get dressed, but my motivation levels are at about a -2. When it's like that, I can't even go outside to get my mail. I have things that I need to do today, but the thought of doing any of them, inside or outsiide, is like an impossible wish. All I want to do is cuddle up on my bed or couch with my sonnybear and just lay there thinking about everything and then probably fall asleep. But ever since I've been sick almost two weeks ago, I got into the patter of sleeping a ot beause I was sick. Now it's hard for me to get back out of that habit when I don't need to. I guess it's like when people go on vacation and then it's hard to go back to work. I was going to take a Provigil this morning to give me a boot in the rearend, but I forgot to and it's too late to do it now. I have to do that tomorrow! That's the only thing that helps me get out of this cycle. One or two days of provigil and I"m back to normal re not sleeping during the day. I wish I would have remebered today.

So, here I go - gonna lay on the couch cus I slept there last night and the blankets are there and so are sonny and tigger. lol They are keeping it warm for me.

Debbie, who doesn't seem to know how to stay awake on her own

You may go through life hearing a 1000 NO's but don't give up because your YES is out there waiting for you.- (Something my father told me.)

Kitty, thanks! I read this about 8 a.m. this morning and would have forgotten to take it had you not reminded me! lol So thanks!! I only took half a pill figuring that's all I would need since I haven't taken it for a while, but I think I should have taken a full one. I forgot that usually if I've gotten in a sleep rut, even if was induced by being sick, I need a full pill 1 or 2 days in a row to jump start my system again and get me back on track. So half pill was better than nothing, but not quite the kick in the rear end I needed. lol I went back to bed about a half hour or so after taking that half pill and just got up about half hour ago - it's now 11 a.m. and still need to shower and get going. But at least it's earlier than it has been! Heck, yesterday I didn't even get as far as taking my jammies off! lol

Thanks again!

Debbie, who gets very frustrated that she has this sleeping problem because it didn't start until 2007! NEVER had a problem wtih it before then! Grrrrrrrrr! I think I know why, and If I'm correct, it's Cathe's fault! lol (seriously, it is)
