    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Yesterday I had another "incident." Sitting on the couch, getting ready to call the insurance company to find an opthamologist to have my vision checked. No stress. Finally decided that if I am blind in one eye, so be it. I'd work around it. Came to terms that no one really knew what happened and accepted to conversion disorder dx. I was dialing the phone, half was through the number and bingo. Here we go again.

DH was thankfully home as the repair man had just gotten here so he got me into bed and I fell instantly asleep after closing my eyes. Dh made an emergency appt with PCP for today. My left eye returned to normal by end of day, right eye, still can't see out of right eye normally.

Get to pcp today but had to see ARNP cause my doc is on vaca. She's listening, looking at me. Dh went in and was explaining symptoms he's seen that I'm not even noticing. My short term memory is shot. I know this. I'm mixing up words, forgetting names of things, screwing up stuff. She went and got my records, looked at all the tests, came back and said the neuro dropped the ball and should have done neuro tests BEFORE I was discharged. So now I have a neuro referal and I need to make the opthamology appt. Maybe they'll figure out what is wrong with me cause at this point, I just want off ALL my meds and start over.

Saw the OT too for the wrist and I'm looking at 4-6 weeks at 2x week because I need that intensive of therapy.

I feel like I am living at the doctor's office.

Sorry you're having such problems Melly. Know what you mean about living at the doctor's office. We've had appts everyday this week except for tuesday, and even then I was supposed to see my general practioner, but canceled because our truck was in the shop. Sigh... Was so looking forward to FINALLY being done with pt tomorrow, but made the dumb mistake of mentioning my neck problems to my doc this morning and guess what!!! More physical therapy, plus he wants me to see a pain specialist now. Ugh!!!! So sick of doctors. Feel better girl!!! Thinking of you.
