Afternoon!

Weather: Dry heat for a change

Sleep: Decent. Trazadone is such a beautiful thing.

Mood: eh....disappointed and frustrated with myself

Plans: went to labor pool and went out on a job which is shoveling and grading. They failed to mention it was all mud from the weekend and yesterday's rain AND that it was a 35 degree grade we were working on. Lasted an hour, fell 2 times cause my equilibrium was off and called in for a replacement. Disappointed in not being able to stick it out and frustrated cause without the vision issue screwing with my equilibrium I would have been able to do it. Had lunch with hubby and came back home to get the mud off of me. I looked like I rolled in it. Going to take a nap. then make dinner. Relax most of the day. Tomorrow is a new day, right?

{{{{{{{{{{Cookie}}}}}}}}} sorry that your pain is so bad today and hope rest make it better as day goes on! Do docs have any plans to try for the pain? I hope so!

Mel, i'm sorry about your vision problem still, i'm sure that must be very frustrating for you. Off topic, I sent you an email re american idol alst week, but wasns't sure it was correct email address..did you by chance get it?

Weather - upper 40's, sposed to get to low 60's

Sleep - fairly good

Mood - ok

Plans - go mail package to australia soon, fix a chicken dish, go to neighbors to visit a while and bring her stuff, ..try to not go "nuts" from these stupid high lvels of adrenaline that cause me symptoms that feel like going to slode. im hoping that my new doctor can figure out something to lower the adrenaline levels. THey are highest now than they've ever been, and i figured they were based on systems. just cus i want u to appreciate how high they are (lol sorry, want you to feel my 'pain' lol) but normal range is from 50-650 but my newest level is 1229!! Grrrrrrrrr, so don't startle me, or I freak out, and dont be loud, or I hit the roof, and don't let me sit down to watch tv, because my legs can't sit stil, I HAVE to rock back and forth really hard, i feel like need to hit something and internally, i feel it buzzing...so don't mess wit me! lol And then my mom wond'ers why i have trouble sleeping!! lol So i see doc week from today. Sorry for poor writing here, i feel like im on speed at the moment, but at least its not like this all the time. I have to be moving physically so its not so bad. Ok i go now to the post office.

Hey Doodles Dahling, I have a follow up apt. with my pain specialist tomorrow to let her know that the procedure failed.....AGAIN!!! So she will prob. make me another useless procedure apt. I really don't think that any Radio Frequency Ablation is going to work. They don't know for sure if they are even putting the electrodes in the correct area. They just friggin guess. I had high hopes for these Dr.s but now I can see that they don't know what they are doing, just like my Gyno's. I may have to get surgery done but I don't see how that will help either. Finding pain relief for my VLSC is hopeless. But thanks for the hugs honey. All thats left for me is support that I get from you and others on this board. Im so depressed.

Awwwwwwwww Cookster! I can imagine you would indeed be feeling depressed because you've been suffering with this for so long. Your docs may know what they are doing overall, but maybe what you have is just something really hard to treat, huh? or maybe you have a bad case of it? Not saying those docs are good or bad, but just saying this may be something that's not very commmon to treat.

Will you try surgery if they suggest it tomorrow? Is that your last resort or are there any other procedures they could try first? Do they know the stats re the surgery? like what is the average percentage of success with the surgery? If you don't know, I would ask them first before surgery.

I just hope they can figure out a way to help you for good! You probably don't even know what it's like to not be in that pain anymore, huh? I'm sorry! I'm holding hope out for you, Cookie, I know how hard it is to have to endure pain on a daily or almost daily basis - especially when it's bad. If it were more endurable, that would be something else, but it's not..though maybe on some days. I will celebrate with you on the first day of the last day of this pain!!!

Hugs
Debbie

The pain specialists have a few other procedures they can try and if all else fails then I will consider surgery. But I won't allow them to do the surgery, I will choose someone else. I have another apt. next month to see a different specialist. This specialist is in another city and my hubby will have to drive me. So we will see if they can do anything. Thanks for everything honey. I know that you have pain issues of your own and I hope that your doing better or you will soon feel better. Your a true friend honey. hugs and muahs
