Afternoon!

Weather: beautiful-sunny and not too warm

Sleep: so so

Mood: down

Plans: give the dog a bath, went to physical therapy. Have so much to do but not motivated at all. Just blah.

Cookie, good luck with the dog search and have fun playing with your pup. Go easy on yourself. Oh, and let us know how the appointment went. xo

Afternoon

Weather: Ewwwww....very tropical...spitting rain and humidity..waiting for news to check on the low pressure front sitting out on the Gulf....TS maybe?

Sleep: Not enough and still restless.

Mood: Eh....manic behaviors still but depressed as heck

Plans: Slept in a little bit. Showered and prepped with my 1st case worker meeting with Div of Blind Srvc. Meeting went well. Lots to process. Should hear from the mobility people within a week or so. Guess I get the official cane <sigh> At least they come to me. I was told I have to go back to neuro and opth to have the recommended tests done. Opth doesn't write prism glasses scripts, so spent time on phone tracking down a optometrist who does. Scheduled that appt. Maybe I'll see a little bit better. Called all the dr's to make appts. Checked and filled out applications for para transit to get me to/from at the very least the nearest bus stop. And then as the meeting was ending, hubs informed me that we were going to have grandson for a few days starting tonite. Which started another frantic round around the house to baby proof. My mom and step-dad are coming for dinner too so I can bring them up to date. Mom doesn't know I'm legally blind yet and I thought an in person situation so she doesn't go ape poop. I thought I was going to be able to kick back and relax and absorb all the new info tonite, but I'm going to have to chase after a 1 yr old all evening. Praying he sleeps through the night. I need to wear him out. And I've been informed he is walking now, not just testing a few steps or cruising.

Hi guys.

Weather: HOT!!! Not ready for summer. Not at all.

Sleep: Not enough. Had to get up way too early for tdoc appt.

Mood: Yo yoing. Not good at all.

Plans: Our schedule has been blessedly light this week and last. Sooo thankful. Today just has an appt with my therapist. Went well for a change. Still unsure if I like her or not. Went to Wal-mart and got some cards and a box to mail my grandfather's Father's Day present. Boring stuff. Went to the post office, now we're waiting for the weather to hopefully clear some so we can go to the pool. That's my day. Hope everyone else is doing okay. Take care my friends. Oh, and Cookie don't be afraid to express your grief in whatever way feels right to you. My thoughts are with you.

Jess
