Doc removed lithium suddenly from treatment
Noodle58 posted:
Why would my sons psychiatrist tell I'm to stop taking lithium? He had a recent episode and still not back to work. He is also delusional. She kept him on Seroquel but told him to stop the lithium.
finnessawilliams responded:
Did you ask why? I'm sure your psychiatrist has your son's best interests at heart and may see something that you don't. You don't mention how old your son is, if he's a child, you should ask, but if he's an adult, ask him what's going on, he may know more and isn't saying or ask him if it's okay to speak with his psychiatrist, there could be some instructions he hasn't made you aware of.
