Benztropine Question

Dear Dr. G,

Can I take Benztropine as needed or daily for anxiety, and either alone or with Latuda and/or Lamotrigine? My meds are running out due to a pharmacy error. I have plenty of Benztropine but have never taken it with Latuda.

Dear Mercy, I suppose one could try taking benztropine to see if it had any effect on anxiety but its intended purpose is to counteract motor restlessness, tremor or Parkinsonism caused by antipsychotic drugs. Dr G
