I read this. Poor girl. No matter what angle you look at this, she was SCREAMING for help. To the kids, her mom, the school. She probably would have been better if she'd remained with her dad in Ireland. Sighs. Why does things have to always be like this?

This is such a sad and horrible loss. The whole situation could have and should have been dealt with in a different way. There are ways to stop bullying no matter what form it is. I think it's so sad that in order to change or make laws, at least one life is usually lost. I agree with Melly, this poor child was screaming for help, all for nought. What a tragic shame.

Trigger - there is a new breaking story about a14 year-old boy who slice the necks of himself and his 2 sisters and burned down his house killing his mom and her new baby. he had a long history of crying out for help and not getting it.

There are so many more ways that people communicate with so many different people. There is so much more for kids to handle.
There is more awareness but the pressures grow at a greater rate. When life get too much for a 14 years old with so much rage and frustration, shouldn't and the world be more careful about caring for the warning signs? How many tragedies will it take?
