    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

I am 32 with a wonderful family and just found out that I am bipolar. 20 days ago they left me due to one of my outburst. I need them back they are my life, my wife was very understanding with the diagnosis, but circumstances have made her not want to talk with me. She understands this is an illness, I worry about my kids and whether they will have this. I am very lost, alone and confused. My wife has changed her statis on Facebook and I am no longer her friend. I need some Hope.

jamireles1 I am blessed with a very sympathetic husband who understands my condition. But it's hard. Being bipolar is not easy. Might I suggest that you have your wife ready The Bipolar Survial Guide or Bipolalr for Dummies? Being informed helps. I hope that you are able to get back together with her and that eveything turns out okay. Meanwhile welcome to the board and we're always here for ya.

Welcome to the board Jamireles, you will find lots of positive support here from people wo know just what your going through.

See the right side of he page where it says RESOURCES? go to the bottom of that and click on show all... in there you will find some good books, organizations and links to very helpful stuff.. There is also another board here on webmd that is for people with BP partners (I think.... CHRISSY???? am I right?? )

Just know your not alone, and sometimes getting some solid understanding and support will help with family dynamics..

Just take one step at a time. You need to start seeing a psychiatrist and a counselor to manage and get things off of your chest if you have things bottled up. You need to take care of you before you can take care of anyone else. Maybe you getting help will help her see that your trying.
