Carohope: let me start by welcoming you to the board. My wife and most of m family have Bipolar disorder I do not. If you do not mind me asking how bad is it? There is lots of advice I could give you but you have chosen a pretty big topic. A little more back ground would really help. With out knowing any more than i do i would say try finding the book The Bipolar Disorder Survival Guide by DR David J. Miklowitz to start. your local public library may have it or be able to get it. Coping with bipolar disorder can be really hard. I hope things get better for you soon. I look forward to your response.
