    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

Need to talk to someone who understands

My daughter is 26, she is BPD and also in a drug addiction rehab at the moment. We, as her family have experienced many, many ups and downs, the drug addiction pushed all of us over the top. We will not give up on her, we're always there to love and support her. After being kicked out of 2 rehab programs, she finally found that she was ready to give a program serious effort. She's in Calif. for these programs, and her Dad and I are in PA. Her BPD symptoms complicate the drug addiction recovery. She's ready for an extended care treatment program but, I'm finding it most of the rehabs are private pay, which we cannot afford. We want to bring her back to PA for the next phase of treatment. My question really is, does anyone know how to find the facility that will be the most helpful for her?

We are not allowed to recommend doctors or treatment centers. I am sure that the facility she is in now could help you find a facility that meets her needs.

    All the best to you,
I'm strong willed and I tell it like it is. I make mistakes, I'm sometimes out of control, but I love and give with all my heart. Have patience with me as I heal.
