You would think the hole would be full by now.
Haylen, I answered you about my garden----even that hasn't shown up.
Yes, I did everything Rachael and all have said to do---NOTHING.
Maybe it is telling me to get off the 'puter and get something else done, Ya think? LOL
Jan
It seems like a lot of my posts say "temporarily unavailable" and then show up hours later. I don't know where the black hole is but if I find it I'll let you know!!!

P.S. If my post ends up in the Black Hole---Well dang it---I tried.
I am wondering if one of their ads might have a virus? I noticed things really went down hill when the Virginia Mason Medical Center ad came on the top of the board?? Do you see it Michelle at the top of the board or is it just on mine as I live around the Seattle area? Just a thought.
Haylen, If you read this could it be possible an ad has a virus in it ????
Please, hope it is fixed soon.
Jan
Roberta,
I have been trying to catch you for a couple of days.
I went to grocery yesterday, thought of you, bought
some fresh basil, small pkg, 3/4 of an ounce and it
cost me $2.88. Can you believe that? Did that come
from your garden? If it didn't, you need to ship me some
and I'll sell it and we can get right. some of my prescriptions
are cheaper than that. LOL! Better be a good recipe.
I got my surgery date today.
Sept. 12th. I thought we could go together, but I guess
not. Tomorrow I meet new Oncologist. Looking forward to
that. I think!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope you are doing well.
I have been having trouble with message boards also.
love n hugs to all
faith
Faith,
I'm so happy for you. Sept 12th was my Dad's birthday so i know it will be good luck for you! He was a great Irish man, so all my lucky shamrocks go to you that day for sure! Just rest till then and take extra great care of yourself! Stay OUT of any germy places from now till long after your surgery. Take no risks and you will do great! That recipe sounds awesome! I'm gonna make it tomorrow. I have tons of cherry tomatoes and fresh basil in my garden as well. Sounds yummy and healthy!!
Love, hugs and lucky shamrocks
Sandy
The delayed or lost postings continue to be a problem. It's a pain, but if you can highlight your message and then hit
"control c" (the CTRL key and the c key at the same time) it will copy the text and then you can paste it to a text file and save it on your desktop. If your message doesn't post, it will be easy to create a new one. But yes, I know, you have to remember to do that! I have the same problem!
Faith - sometimes our grocery store sells "live" basil plants. You can actually plant it and grow it. And some of the nurseries still have basil plants left over from gardening season. I planted one big pot with 2 kinds of basil, parsley, chives and rosemary. It is huge and very lush right now! Add that to salads, top off tomatoes and mozzarella, need to make some pesto, etc. Good luck with your new oncologist!
Hang in there, Sandy! This is not important enough to get your blood pressure up there. Isn't it funny how the little things can get us going? We expect so much from technology these days, does anyone remember how we did this ten years ago??? NOT!!!
Speaking of technology, I had to call the local telephone company to get service for my mom's new apartment. OMG!!! It took 3 phone calls and two days before they could fix their database and get her address correct. For some reason they had the address of this specific apartment wrong, even though they had all the other apartments for the whole building correctly entered. They could not place the order for service until they had the right address. I had to argue with the customer service rep to get him to understand that I was telling him the correct address. This all started last Friday! So finally this afternoon the order got entered and she'll get phone service next Monday. That's as fast as they can go, and they probably don't have to do a single thing except enter a few computer keystrokes! And they wonder why local telephone service is dying! I could have had a cell phone in her hands and working in an hour...if only she could figure out how to use the darn thing!
Time to go to bed, ladies! Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow.
Hugs,
Michelle
Please know that fixing these problems is a priority for WebMD. And the moderators are facing the exact same issues...I will keep you updated as I hear about the engineering progress.
Tired-ly yours,
Haylen
So sorry for all the problems. You poor gal. All you can do is keep us up-dated. We really appreciate all you do for us. I am just happy to know it isn't my antiquated dial-up.
As of about 8:45 p.m.Pac Time it seems to be working. I know the exact time cause that is when DH left for the casino. Wish him luck. LOL.
We are hoping for a better day tomorrow.

Jan

6 am here - testing boards and looks like today will be better. But an even better fix is coming
If anything takes the sting out of a "low-sleep" night it's my 6 year old snuggling on my lap as I type this
Haylen
