Hi ladies! Thanks for being on "pinkie" "That always helps.
Well, I didn't get quite the results I wanted. They think they
might have seen something on one of my lungs,. They said they
are not sure. They had to tell me though. They told me not to worry.
I will get scanned again in Aug. My blood work was good.
I will get that again in Aug. as well.
I am not in menopause but right on the edge. She thinks the
tamoxifen is keeping me there , so we will stay with that for now.
My estrogen is low so that is good.
I don't like having things looming. It seems like that all the time.
But I'm still here and I feel ok today. So I am going to try to
live my life! ( I need to borrow Sandys "pink bat" LOL)

Cindy,
I am so sorry that you did not get a completely clean report at this time. However, the fact that all your bloodwork is good is a positive sign as well as the fact that they didn't rush you into more tests and scans.
I think if they suspected something they would not wait until August. So try to get through each day as best you can - we know how difficult that is to do. But we are always here for you and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
You are a very special and we are always here for you anytime you need us.
Many cyber hugs,
Judy

Oh Cindy, That really sucks that you have to be a "lady-in-waiting" again for some possible problem. I am so sorry you didn't get quite the bill of health you wanted. BUT---sometimes I do believe our Dr's are being overly cautious at times.

When I had my PET/CT scan back in June 2011 after my mast they thought they found a dark spot on one of my lungs. After I finished chemo Nov 2011--- the "spot" showed up again but very much smaller. Last month I had a chest x-ray (thought I might have pnemonia cause of our nasty weather) and the spot was gone. Sometimes I think they look extra careful after we have had bc.

So please, Please, be calm. As Rachael is so fond of saying---"Let's not borrow trouble cause it will find us soon enough". I do agree with Judy, if they thought it was of any concern you would be in for many more tests and/procedures.

So go out and have fun and enjoy the Spring. I hope the weather is sunny and bright where you live. It has been beautiful here for the last week. I love it.

Sending you a big Bouquet of Spring Flowers--but the kind that has no smell. In case, you are allergic. LOL.

Hugs
Jan

Cindy,
I am so sorry that your test came back iffy but like the others have said if it was something to be concerned about you would be in for more testing now not in Aug. So please try to have some fun between now and then and not worry yourself sick. I know it is hard to do, better said then done ,but we all know that we worry sometimes for nothing. So again please go out and have some fun enjoy life to the fullest don't let this get you down because it could be nothing at all. Live is to short to live for tomorrow so live for today !!Have a great day angel hugs Roberta,

Sorry there remains any concern, but I join the others in pointing out that it must not be of great concern or they would have pushed for further tests now. So, do your best to enjoy the summer, focus on the roses and not the thorns! And know we will not only keep you in our thoughts until August, but will make sure that PInkie is in your dirve for that appointment!

Blessings and blue sky days!
Rachael

Cindy, I am sorry that you didn't get the all clear, but as other have said, if they were truly concerned they wouldn't be waiting until August.

Cindy,
I'm so sorry you didn't get an all clear, but them waiting till August means it's just something they are gonna watch closely. If it looked horrible, I'm sure they would be right on top of it. But I always will have this pink bat ready and waiting! I still don't understand why my tumor markers are up, but they are just watching that also. I'm tired of worrying about every single thing. My primary care dr is watching my liver because of those epidural steroid shots. She's concerned about that. And I have been busting my butt in p.t. with this back. They work me out 2 hrs, like 3x a week. They are trying traction on me and every time I lay there and let it stretch my bones, I think about how lucky I am to even be here, and it makes it easier. I will continue to pray for you and all the wonderful ladies here! Together....we are stronger than anyone could ever imagine!
Love, hugs, and lucky shamrocks,
Sandy
