Updates from my wife

The decision has been made. After a consult with the chemo doctor, the surgeon, a second and third opinion everyone has agreed surgery was the next logical step followed by possibly chemo and then radiation. Reconscruction will be in about a year if she decides to go that route.

The first step (surgery) is scheduled for early June with follow-ups with the Big 3 (Surgeon, Chemo and Radiation Doctors) 2 weeks after the surgery.

She is scared or maybe nervous (or both) but she is doing OK and she has Many people around her that have been very supportive.

We would like to thank everyone here and let you all know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mark,
Thanks for letting us know how your wife is doing. The treatment journey for breast cancer is a long and winding road that tests all of us as well as our family and friends.
Your wife will be in our prayers.

Mark,
Thank you so much for the update, I am sure your wife is both scared and nervous but that is normal. It is so good to hear she has many people around her to support and be there for her that is very important. Plus she has you !!! That is the most important right now is you are there for her and staying by her side through it all.
It will have some ups and downs but you already know that and have gotten through them I feel you both will be just fine and get through all of this also. Please remember we are always here 24/7 to chat, vent to, laugh with or even cry with we are always here for you. Please come and check in from time to time to let us know how you and your wife are doing. I know it is going to get busy and days are going to feel very long not enough hours in a day we are here. I am keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers you are near and dear to my heart now and always will be you are part of this family now both of you are. Sending many Angel hugs for you and your wife have a great day Roberta,
Roberta
