Wife's Update

My wife has had her drains removed and has her appointments for chemo set-up. She is going to therapy due to the fact she has lymphedema. The therapist said my wife would need to have rehab twice a week for at least the next 3 months. "BW" is depressed because of the lymphedema but we are trying to keep her spirits up. This whole "adventure" has been very tiring for her.

To add to the stress, she will have to deal with me for 9 days straight 24/7. My place of business is shutting down for the week of July 4th so I will be home with her the whole time. LOL

"BW" wanted me to let you know that she appreciates all the thoughts and prayers you all have sent her way and is praying for everyone here.

Have a great weekend and hope everyone has great weather to enjoy whatever it is they want to do.

Thanks for the update Mark!

I'm happy for you that you have 9 days off! Looks like it's time to tackle that "to-do" list around the house, huh?

(((hugs))) to you and BW -

Haylen

p.s. if you do find that her depression is worsening, please have her mention that to her doctor...

Thanks for letting us know how BW is doing...and how you are going to be there for a full week to do her bidding! (Should she run out of things for you to do, I am sure there are a few members here who could use your help! )

Thanks, too, for letting us know that we are in her thoughts just as she (and you) are in ours. I can imagine that being given a little "by the way...lymphedema..." wasn't good news, but glad to know that she is in therapy to help relieve that.

Hope you both have a safe and wonderful holiday!

Blessings.
Rachael
