Just an update. I go Monday morning for a second CT scan.
At my 6 mo. CT they saw a spot on my lung. So now at 3 mo.
I have to get scanned again. I hope it turns out to nothing, no
change or not there. I still hate drinking that stuff, but I guess
we need to find out. I see my Onc on the next Monday for
results and blood work.
So wish me luck ladies!
Cindy
Any destinations you particularly would like to visit???
Know, also, we will hold you in our hearts for a good report!
Blessings.

I have a PET/CT on Monday also. This is the 4th one I've had, and I've never had to drink the contrast. I wonder if it's a difference in type of machine.
Good luck!!!

Thanks ladies! Michelle , love your hair. My scan is just
a ct scan. From my chin to my knees. They will also
inject contract during the test. The pet scan I have had in
the past. is an injection before then you wait an hour
then have your scan.
Thanks for picking me up! A margarita would be great!
It will take the edge off of the waiting! LOL
Good luck with your scan Michelle! We both need good
reports!
Love and hugs,
Cindy
And thanks, Cindy! My crazy chemo curl seems to respond favorably to a big fat round brush!

I will be on Pinkie to help serve you drinks and make sure the cabana boys behave themselves. LOL. The drinks sound awesome but not the contrast stuff. YUK!!!!!
Afterwards we will party hardy. We will find something fun to do while palying the "Waiting Game"!!!! That is the worst of these tests the stupid waiting!!!!!!!

Good luck ladies and enjoy the drinks after Cindy sorry about the drink before but the after will take away the nasty one from before. Wishing you both all the best angel hugs to you both Roberta,
I'm back , thanks for the ride. The after drinks were great!
Now for the wait.
Roberta , I hope youre feeling good today.
Michelle, I hope your scan goes well. And my hair isn't much
longer than yours and my chemo ended Jan '11. Your hair
grows fast! Lucky you. Mine is curly though.
All other ladies , thanks for comming on the ride!
Cindy
So the cabana boys were really some handsome Dudes, Right? Plus in our age group and not these super Young things. Like my Lung Dr. LOL LOL.
You know as I was listening to my I-Pod all week-end, it occurred to me---My Lung Dr is too young to even remember Elivis????? How UNreal is that?????? LOL Boy, oh boy that got me to laughing so hard. LOL.
So now enjoy the rest of your day. Sending good thoughts it will be clean, clear, and pretty pink lungs.

Jan
Yes the cabana boys were of all ages. They were all
handsome! Your lung doctor must be really young not to
remember Elvis!
I don't know if I can get the results for at least a few days.
She has called me before if she gets the results. It's hard
to get a hold of anyone there. You get voicemail and
maybe they call you back. They have other numbers for
emergency. I have the appointment on Monday unless
they call me before. I don't like the waiting either. I can
get blood test results on line but not the ct.
I am hoping for the best. I feel good.
I hope Michelle has a good result too.
Thanks for hanging with me!Now off to my sewing club!
Have you been quilting? I am a beginer with the quilting.
I am learning though. You have a great day too!
Cindy
I send my MO an email, said that I had the PET/CT and I would be looking for an email from her tomorrow with results. I looked at the scans...I'm no radiologist but there were plenty of areas that sucked up that glucose. I suspect I'll hear that this will be the baseline scan, we'll continue with the Xeloda, and scan again after three more cycles. If it's no worse than this, I guess I'll be satisfied. I did have a few weeks with no treatment.
Let's see how I do at playing radiology oncologist!
