Geez, I see you all have been having quite the Party while I was gone. Seems as tho, you all started without me. Yes, Michelle, I think today was the day Rachael our ever-loving friend and Rock as Lost It. She is just too funny!!!!

Just got back from "Getting to Know You" new Onc Dr. I just couldn't behave myself. Dang it but I tried. On the bottom of the paper you always have to fill out it has one question: Reason for visit? I couldn't resist and put on there, "Getting to know You". I don't think the Doc read it but the nurse sure did. She was laughing.

He is in-between my other Onc Dr and the young lung Dr in age. Which is a great thing!!! Plus he gave me so much information. How to check my mast scar for any new lumps or bump due to the angiosarcoma. No one else ever told me that before. DUH.

Plus he showed me how to check it also. Then as my Lt shoulder has so much pain from tendonitis---DO YOU suppose I could get my bra fastened again. There was no way I could reach back there to hook it, plus the falsie is so heavy---I was having a devil of a time. Then the dang falsie kept hitting my face as I was leaning over to read on his computer. FINALLY---He says "Here let me help you with that!! But I am a little rusty!!" So Yippeee he does have a sense of humor. Thank goodness.
.
Nothing like finding that out on the very first visit. LOL

Ladies, I did try really hard to behave myself. Just doesn't work for me. LOL. LOL

All in all a great visit. He did explain how my Dr. Dreamy ruled out the angio stuff. I was getting pretty worried as we didn't have any tissue to test. So I feel really good about this Dr. He did read my chart and asked a few questions. I think I impressed him about knowing my dates of the procedures and stuff. Thank goodness, I had my little calender with me. Plus I was well informed of my Dx.

Best of all he said see you in 3 months unless I needed him. YAY. Otherwise the Lung Dr would follow up with me on this infection.
So I am relieved this one hurdle is jumped over.

Now on to tomorrow!!!! Wheewwww!!!!!!! I pray I can behave myself tomorrow. Wish me luck. LOL LOL. I need LOTS of Luck. LOL LOL

Thanks all for the laughs today. Been awesome.

Jan - sounds like he's a great match for you, that's awesome!

Now, you behave yourself so Dr. Dreamy doesn't fire you! And I hope your infection has been evicted!

Hugs,
Michelle

Thanks Michelle,

Yes, he gave me more info than the other Dr ever did. So perhaps joking around wasn't the best thing to do so much. The other Onc Dr did not explain how I was to check my mast side. Go Figure!!!

I couldn't believe it when he offered to fasten my bra. I hate those stupid falisies but do need them. LOL. The one I got is weighted and I usually have to pull it around to the front to fasten it. A little hard to do with it under my clothes. LOL.

Geez, I am so nervous about seeing Dr Dreamy today. I have no idea what he is going to say to me. I tried to clear up the fact that I DO trust him. I did send him a letter last month explaining how panciked I was about this lung problem. I hope he read it but now I am wondering what he might say about it. Oh Well, I always put my foot in it. Right??? Will find out soon enough.

Yes, I do have to behave myself today by all means as He is now the only Dr taking care of me at the moment. Onc Dr said to come back in 3 months and Lung Dr would be following me with this infection. I just wonder how soon I get another x-ray to see if it is clearing up. I pray it is altho, I do not feel any different than before all this started. Still coughing but a lot less. Still no energy but it has been VERY hot here. Way to hot for too many days for our area.

O.K. I am rambling again. Just nerves. I don't think I was this nervous having the lung bio. UGH.

Michelle, did you have a lung bio? I am wondering how they know it is ca in your lung and not an infection like mine???

I will certainly be on "Pinkie" for you today. I will be the one in the back serving you drinks by the platter full. But perhaps after your appts. Can't having you too tipsy before seeing the Dr's. now can we???

Sending you all the prayers in the world and healing thoughts. I am glad you have a great set of Doctors on your team. And one's that listen to you. Communication is everything as I found out the hard way with my lung Dr. Hopefully today will be better for both of us.

Yes, we knew better than to expect you to behave yourself! 'Sides, all your medical folks probably have spread the word and you might have disappointed this new guy if you'd been sedate!

Very glad to hear how well things went! Now, am continuing to send good thoughts your way for today being equally as great!!

Blessings always, Friend!

AHA--Rachael, Do you really think they pass the word around that I am a total NUT?? Yikes!! Well, I am sure I didn't disappoint if that is the case. LOL.

Well, all kidding aside---some times joking with your Dr might not be the best thing. Altho it does relieve the tension on some things really serious. SomeTimes that is!!! I sure got more info from this new Doc than I did the other one. So that is all good. He seems to be very caring and does listen to you instead of having his nose in the computer. LOL. Even if my falsie got in the way. LOL LOL.

Thanks for the heads up, Rachael. I for sure do not want to be fired from this lung Dr's practice so I WILL behave. Right now I need him as my other 2 Doc's have temporarily dismissed me.

All to the good that is.

Hope you behave yourself on the boards today. Yesterday I think you were a little Nuts. LOL. I am still laughing over the "drunk zipping in the convent".

Time to jump in the shower. Going to be really hot today. Thank goodness, I am putting Mr. Lucky in doggie-day care. I didn't yesterday and was pretty worried he was getting too hot. But we both made it.

Jan - no lung bio...if I had just a spot or two, there might be some question. But with elevated tumor markers and several spots showing on the PET/CT in several locations, it's pretty obvious.

Sorry Michelle, I just now noticed you answered my question. I am glad you didn't have to have a lung bio. Altho, it was pretty easy as I didn't feel a thing. Thank Heaven's.

Because of this new type of ca I have the tumor markers will not show it up. So we don't use them. I guess the markers only work for ceratin cancers. The only way to monitor it is by scans. UGH. and checking my site where it was before.

I am praying hard for you on Friday. I will be there on "Pinkie" for you. Perhaps this time I will do some painting. No guarantees tho.

Hugs
