Okay ladies, let's get planning for Michelle's ride into Dana Farber for her 2:30pm appointment on Friday. I have contacted the cabana boys, they will be there with bells on (hmmmm!)

Michelle, let us know what you want for snacks. We packed up some mixed nuts and cheese & crackers, and fruit to go with the yummy umbrella drinks so far! Do you want me to call Mr. Clooney?

Seriously, I am wishing you tons of good thoughts and a positive appointment on Friday.

Well, POO!!!!!!!

I have tired four times to post surprises for Michelle, and they just won't post!!! Suffice it to say, they are super, Michelle!! Honest!!!

Guess you just will have to wait until tomorrow and see for yourself...A hint: They include very fine men, great foods (especially desserts!), fancy drinks and lovely, exotic vacation spots! Know you are in our thoughts muchly!

Oooohhh!!! George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and whoever else we can kidnap for the ride!

Jenna - you've got all the food groups covered, except maybe ssome dark chocolate dipped strawberries :>)

Rachael - I'll be waiting!

So tomorrow is day 1, then I have to go on day 8 which will be next Friday and then day 22, two weeks later. And then I think it's every three weeks except there's a CAT scan in there every now and then. And they'll work around our trip to Hawaii (we each get two pieces of luggage plus our carry-ons, so I can fit in a couple of you lightweights :>)

Whew, Rachael will be able to navigate this route in her sleep!!!

I am in Atlantic City with my hubby...he had some business in Philadelphia but decided we could stay here and I could have some fun while he works. I think we are about to go to lunch, if he gets off the phone.

See you all tomorrow!!!

Awe Michelle, Go have so fun. Win bigtime as you deserve it.

I will be on Pinkie tomorrow. I will bring the dark chocolate. Love the strawberries dipped in it. Yummmmy.

Good luck with the Casino and the trip to Boston.

BTW---I am so sorry your Red Sox are now out of the race. Can't believe you moved from Kansas (with a lousy team) to Boston and now they have let you down. Dang it!! I was rooting for the Red sox also. But they have started trading their members. Maybe next year. That has been the Mariner fan's motto now for the last 10 years. I feel your pain. LOL.

Hugs

Hey Jan, maybe the Patriots can make up for the crappy Red Sox season! How's your Seattle team looking this fall?

And thanks for the dark chocolate, we'll be having quite a feast!

Michelle,
Have been following your "adventures" this time around, and am awed by your attitude, strength and courage!
I think we need a Pinkie caravan today - one for the food, one for the cabana boys, one for the movie stars and one for just us ladies!
I wish you well and know that you will navogate this adventure like you do with all your "trips".
Much love to you and your wonderful supportive hubby and know you are in my prayers and thoughts.

Thank you so much, Judy!

Someone sent me a book about eCaP - being an exceptional cancer patient. It has been a huge help to me:

This link explains a bit. Bottom line - you have to have faith that your treatment will work.

Wow, ladies, thanks so much for the fabulous escort service! The trip from Atlantic City was uneventful, although the trip from Boston was "trafficky" due to the holiday weekend. I passed muster in every way and I will start taking the trial drugs tomorrow at breakfast.

I feel a bit like a pioneer - the trial will be open to 40 (initially it was 26, I think). It's still pretty small and I'm excited to be a participant.

So, we go again - next Friday at 2:45. I hope you all can make it, it's nice to have the company! And with Pinkie so well equipped and Rachael at the wheel, it's a good ride!

So glad to hear all went well, Sacagawea (aka: Sacajawea, Sacagawea, Sakakawea!!! ) That was the only female pioneer I could think of except Mrs. Ingalls!!

We hope, first and foremost, that this proves successful for you...But we are grateful, too, that it may open doors for so many others...Thank you so much...We are very proud of our Friend!!

Of course, we will all board Pinkie on Friday. Again, thanks for an appointment later in the day...Your driver is most appreciative!

Many blessings.

Praying and hoping this trial is a great success for you.

Thanks, everyone! I seem to be tolerating the trial drug just fine! No side effects that I can perceive, so far! I guess the bloodwork tomorrow will tell us more. But I feel really good, all things considered!

See you all tomorrow - Jan and I are monopolizing Pinkie again!

Hugs,
Michelle
