I am so sorry that you are ging through this. None of us here are doctors, nor do we venture to diagnose.
What we can do is to help your anxiety until you see your doctor. It could be anything from a benign fatty tumor, to a skin irritation or something more.
You are doing the right thing by going to see th doctor. In the meantime you should be taking slow deep breaths, inhale through your nose and exhale hrough your mouth. When you inhale your abdomen should expand - not get smaller.
If you are still anxious - even after you dr. appt. then please ask that doctor for some anti-anxiety meds that you can take to calm your nerves.
lease come back and lt us know what the doctor tells you as we are always her to give suppport to all.
Good luck,
Judy

Sorry you and your wife are going through this difficult worry. I hope you'll come back and let us know how she is doing. And remember that 80% of lumps are benign. So the odds are good that it's nothing serious.

Hugs,

I went to my doctor on 9/9/12 and he wasn't to worried about the knot (lump) when i showed him. He is sending me to another doctor to take samples for biopsy. He told me he thinks it may be scar tissue from my younger days of playing sports. He was more concerned about my blood sugar levels. I'm prediabetic. So that made me feel allittle better.

To mhall the lump is on me not my wife

Glad to hear that not only is he not overly concerned, but that he is following thru to make sure! Please know you will remain in our thoughts, and do let us how you are doing.

Take good care of yourself with regard to the prediabetic business!!

Blessings.
