    Question about breast cysts

I was diagnosed with one yesterday the size of pea and they will follow up in 4 months.

My question - my dr says it is common in women 40-60 years of age - I am 68 years old and she says it's uncommon in my age group.

Does anyone know of anyone my age, 68, who had a cyst? Anyway, not going to worry as she will follow up with me in 4 months - anyway - just wondering if any of you knew of someone who had a cyst at my age. I'm not going to worry because I had a mammogram plus 3 more pics of that breast plus an ultrasound but anyway - just curious - thank you.
