I am a bit confused. i found a lump and went for a mammogram and ultrasound in July. they told me i had areas of concern that were not fibrocystic. they want me to wait until January for follow up tests. i have an older sister who had stage 4 breast cancer and a couple of aunts on my Mommas side who also had cancer. the lump i found feels morr prominent now and now the nipple on that breast has no feeling at all. so what do I need to do?

If it were me I would seek out a second opinion and not wait until January. Let you docs know that the lump feels more prominent and you need to either be seen sooner or go somewhere else. This is your health, and time does matter.
Wishing you the best and please let us know what is going on -
