    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Hello girls
I am almost 4 years since dx with stage 2B. My hair is almost to my bra line on my back. Letting it grow and grow since chemo took it away only a few years ago. Finally the chemo curls are gone.
Well this is the 3rd thanksgiving since my husband gave me this tip on buying the turkey. He said "go the store and buy the "2 biggest breast" they have. Over 9 pounds each if you can find them." I stood there thinking" did he just say that to me??" It took him longer than you would think to let his brain say I himself should have not used that sentence?" Well we still laugh about it all the time. Today in fact we bought the 2 big breast and they were over 9 pounds each.
Hope the holidays for anyone go well for everyone. Maybe your having surgery or chemo and think this will be the worst holiday ever. It just may be but, next year will be a whole lot better. I know I went thru it too

Thanks for the laugh. We do have to find humor in all this craziness sometimes.

I was diagnosed 6 years ago just before Thanksgiving and started chemo a week before Xmas. It was so difficult, but you are so right, things do get better.

Thanks and have a wonderful holiday ~
