    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

Hi I am new to FtF but not new to Breast cancer. Until April 8 I had been a 7 year survivor of IDC and IDCS. But I have a recurrence, of my grade 3 cancer. At this time they think it is only 1 ct and located in my lumpectomy scar. I have had a MRI that shows another area near the tumor that they dont want to biopsy, I had an enlarged node on my right side that biopsy was negitive on. and a negitive bone scan, I had a CT yesterday that I will get results on Friday along with my tumor marker and ovarian cancer results. I am looking at massectomy, reconstruction and possible chemo again. I am the only one working my husband has been off almost 4 years, so I am so concerned how I will pay for all of this. I worked thru dose dense chemo the first time, but I am older now. I am just so scared...

Please know how sorry we are that you have this new challenge. When the battle itself is complicated by financial troubles, it must seem doubly dreadful.

May I suggest that you post as well on the Breast Cancer Exchange (It's the main Exchange. Tho' the off-shoots of F2F and Non-toxic Treatments offer much on their own, the main exchange is usually busier and may provide a little more in teh way of ideas for finanacial help.) Regarding that, please take note of the "Tips" on the right side as there is one specifically which addresses financial assistance that you may find helpful.

This particular site is especially for coming to when you need hand holding and venting and someone who truly appreciates what you are feeling. Please come back here often. We do care!!

You will be in my thoughts!

So sorry to hear of your reoccurence, You may want to check into disability insurance. It is one of the first things that my doctor talked about to me (after the cancer stuff). Ask your doctor and consult with a disability att. just to put your your mind at ease, and take one thing off your plate.
