Just wanted to share that I am now a 2 year survior of DCIS and starting on my 3rd year. Still taking the tamoxifen I think I shared a while back it has been an uphill battle this year not with my health but with everything that has been going on around me! My 82 year old father is now in nursing home with end stages of dementia. His dementia was anesthsia induced after he seperated his shoulder cutting a branch on a tree. He went from ok to end stages overnight. It has been hard for the family to accept that. Of course at the same time my only child graduating from highschool and going off to college. They have a new name for me "Faucet Face" the tears often happen for no reason at all. All of this while working full time as a supervisor and taking care of my mother and mother-in-law. Of course it is challengeing but keep going day by day - minute- by minute. You all have supported me very much and I appreciate every single one of you! I feel bad that I don't get on as much as I should to help others as you have helped me although I still tell others about this community when I can. Hope to everyone for another day/ another year! Country girl!

I am so sorry about your dad...These are the times one wonders what the hecks is going on in the universe! And when I tend to add to my list I'll present one day to the Almighty!
Gal, you have had and continue to have a very full plate! Seems that the "rocks" that Jan has just posted about are very much in your path! (If you haven't read her post, please do. It sounds like you two share a common enemy. You may not be able to remove all the battles you are facing in your personal life, but you might find some support and relief with someone in the medical arena as she did .)
Please make a point of coming here when things are bad, and we will do our best to offer you shoulders to cry on, hands to hold and we will also try to report on things that are silly enough that you will have to laugh once in awhile...The sound of you laughing may shock those who are calling you "Faucet Face" and that alone will be worth it!
(If you need reassurance as far as the weepy-days go, know that it happens to every one of us!! This misery may not want company, but it sure does help to know that you aren't the only one who is on the verge of tears too many days! But....maybe...if we hold on just a little while longer, that blue-sky day is waiting there just for us!
)

thanks for your kind words Rachel , I have debated about going to doc to see about medication or counseling- haven't decided to quite yet you know I would rather work my but off trying to move and climb over those boulders!! LOL
