    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

In many faiths the month of November is a time for reflection and realling those who have shared our paths in life. Though gone, they remain very much a part of each of us. Here on F2F/Breast Cancer Community we have walked beside many such individuals. What they have left in the vacuum of their silence is much wisdom, courage, laughter and love.

In keeping with this sentiment, I list here alphabetically many of those "Friends" we ahve lost in recent eyars. (If I have overlooked anyone, please add their names in a reply.)

    FALLEN WARRIORS:

    Alice(Gordy's wife)
    Amy, Jean's (bonnets) daughter
    Bev (happyinmouseland)
    Claudine (wildblue)
    Denise (countrygal777)
    KC Cyclist
    Karen (KQT)
    Kirsti (MadameK)
    Laura (sukeybee)
    Maura's (pbbun21) Mom
    Melanie (melmel)
    Michele (shell55803)
    Mildred (Jaydee's wife)
    Patty (disneygirl)
    Robin (purplewheels)
    Sue (mersic7)
    Terri (pvb31mom)

    Blessings and peace.

I have just read the Memorial Rachael...as my eyes went down the list my heart spoke each one of their names and I felt saddened for knowing some of those names and for not knowing all of them...warriors each one. Touched by an angel's wing and lifted above, that is where I know they are today. Thank you and I will keep them in my thoughts and in my prayers also for the families/friends that miss them .

God Bless all these holiday's and keep the hope...keep the faith...and the bootstraps pulled up!!

Glad to know you read through the list...So many "Friends" and so very missed! But I'd like to think that every time they are each remembered, they feel that memory as a warm hug!

And thanks so much for reminding us about our "bootstraps"!!

    Blessings.

Hi! 9 months ago, my mother was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer. It was then that I joined this group. Last November 5, she passed away. Her name is Violeta. Please include her in your prayers.

Hi Rachel and all, I don't check in here much anymore. But something just told me to come here today. Thank you so much for putting together the list of our angels. I remember most of them.

It's good to see that you are still here and a few of the others that I remember. I hope you have a very blessed New Year ahead.

    Many hugs,
    Bonnie

So good to hear from you once again, Bonnie! I'm glad you saw the memorial as so many are missing and are missed by all of us, I just wanted to note them once again.

I hope you will pop in here more often...Not only do I miss those who are now angels, I also miss those who remain earth-bound!! Sure wish more were posting more often...Not necessarily about illness, but just about daily happenings and about joyful things too!!

    Happy New Year, Friend!

I just saw on Facebook that Janice Haines posted about the death of one of our F2F members. Miarka Mazur had gone thru 2 primary breast cancers and this past year she had mets to the lung. She passed away Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011. I am sure many of you will remember her most fondly as she was a constant Friend on the boards.

Please keep her and her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.

    Blessings.
