Am going through a troubling time just now...Actually, an ongoing trouble that just raises its ugly head from time to time to remind me it is still there. I could use some good thoughts and prayers to help make it over another of these periods.

I didn't make it a year with out another little "creature" calcification popping up this week. Probably another torture Stereotactic biopsy, the word reminds me of a dinosaur.
Anyway, you are in the arms and prayers of so many here.

Oh, Alma, how sweet of you! But I am sorry to hear that the damnable "T-Rex" is haunting you again! (Yes! You are so right about that type of biopsy sounding like a big, ugly dinosaur! Hey! I just thought of a business you and I can go into!!! You know how they have all sorts of cartoon character band aids for kids? Well, we will design a dinosaur bandage for ladies who need a stereotactic biopsy!!!! It might just give them a little grin when they could really use it...and it might make us rich!!! How about it?!)
In the meantime, please know we are beside you whenever you have the procedure, and do let us know how you are doing. Holding you in my heart!

Very sadly I believe that tomorrow will bring my dog to the end of her journey....This weekend has been very difficult for her; breathing problems, no appetite and much coughing, gagging and sneezing...No way for her to live!
It is not an easy decision, but one that must be made...
God, I am so sad and miss her already! Please think of us...It's so hard!

Hi Rachel...I am new to this sight and am feeling like you right now,so I don't know how much help I am for you...but I do understand...In the midst of all of my BC trials and tribulations we had to put our 13 year old lab/retriever mix (Lucy) down...same reasons..she couldn't really eat or drink any more, and we dealt with it all summer and then we knew it was time...very hard...I usually get out and do "retail therapy"...but I don't really have anything to buy any more! I think I have been going through this too long...I wish better days ahead for you...Lori

Loosing my pet seems to come at a time when I am already feeling lost in so many ways and for so many reasons...The fates like to wait until we are really vulnerable to toss challenges in our direction!
Not having Haley here to greet me every morning and to make me feel important and needed is tough. Sometimes now I notice her NOT being there more often than when she was actually present! (Did I take her too often for granted? Do I do the same for others I love? Most probably! And shame on me for being so human!)
This virtual "hand-holding" feels most warm and caring to me. I hope this kind of exchange and sharing helps you also. They gave us so much, it means there are so many good memories to fill the emptiness once we get beyond the grief.
