Melanoma worries

Last year I was told I had a benign melanoma on my arm. I've gone in every six months to get check ups and I was supposed to have one this month but it got moved to October.
Lately I've been having a lot of troubles breathing, catching my breath. I could just be sitting down and it happens. I'm always so tired, too and I've developed a bit of a cough.
I don't have allergies and no longer have asthma problems
I was reading that Shortness of Breath and Cough could be an indicator of trouble. Should I consider seeing if I can get in to see my dermatologist early?

I've also noticed that some of the larger moles on my shoulder and above my eyebrow are painful if I touch them or if anything comes into contact with them.
Thanks for any help (:
