My grandmother was diagnosed last week with lung cancer that has spread to her bones. The doctor said he wants to use this form of radiation that she will not have to have injections for....I have never heard of this form of radiation. Can someone please help me figure it out? or give me some info on it at least. iv tried searching on the net but i couldnt find anything. I also want to know if there are any other options she can use.

Radiation therapy does not involve injections. You might be confusing this with chemotherapy that does involve medications being injected into the body.
