My mom had brian surgery in january for a tumor in march she started radiation for eight weeks bc the tumor started growing back..yesterday she got her results back from her MRI and the doctors told her that either they see a shadow from the radation or the tumor was worse then they thought. My question is can radiation cause an shadow on an MRI? They want to wait two months for another MRI before chemotherapy thank you.
