Liver, Pancreas, thickening stomach wall

My mother has been having lots of pain in her abdomen area. She had an xray about a month ago and nothing at all showed up. She had blood work done just last week and her white blood cells were normal. She then had a CT scan done. This has shown that there is a growth on the liver, enlarged pancreas, and thickening of the stomach wall. She is having blood work done to look for I guess some type of cancer markers, a scope of her stomach and a colonoscopy done this week. Does this sound like the normal diagnostic process?
