Cancer Realities: Outliving Your Prognosis
Melanoma Questions
An_188454 posted:
I was diagnosed with a .5 depth 1.5x 1 cm melanoma on my back.
I'm having it removed in a few days. The doctor wants to check the rest of my body for other possible melanomas. Where else should he be concerned? Are there certain spots more susceptible than others.

Any information from a doctor or other person that has experienced this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi and welcome,

This is really something you need to discuss with your doctor. There is no expert on this community, and anything else would just be guessing I'm afraid. Please call your doc and share your concerns. He/she is best to ask, as they know your health history.
Good health and good luck to you!
